Donna Fusco

Director of Operations/Teacher

Miss Donna started dancing when she was 2 years old after being diagnosed with pigeon toes. Her doctor prescribed dance as her treatment. Donna started at Steeltoes the first year it opened and has been teaching and managing all these years. She is certified by Dance Educators of America and has taught ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and creative movement for ages 2-adult.

Rennie Lauren

Lyrical - Hip Hop

Rennie is an award-winning choreographer, with her pieces being awarded “best choreography” and “artistic storytelling” at various competitions. She has been dancing for 20 years and still enjoys every minute of it. Rennie studied dance at Hunter College and participated in the Summer Performance Workshop at Alvin Ailey, Summer Conservatory Program at Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and Debbie Allen’s Summer Dance Intensive. She enjoys teaching and loves seeing the progress of students as they bring her work to life. The passion her students have mimics her own and she enjoys being a part of their dance journey!

Mariah Valentin

Hip Hop - Jazz - Contemporary

Mariah began her dance training at the age of 2, and has loved it ever since! She trained under Diego Funes, studied at Peridance Capezio Center in New York and received her degree in dance from Stockton University. While at Stockton she choreographed for numerous student showcases and dance concerts. Mariah was captain of the Stockton University Dance Team and won numerous awards at competitions all over New Jersey. She has danced for the Philadelphia 76ers pre-game show at the Wells Fargo Arena. Mariah’s competition choreography has garnered her many high awards and wins including “Best Entertainment.” Mariah’s passion for dance continues to be limitless and she loves to share her love of dance with her students!

Kay Ozzy

Contemporary - Hip Hop - Jazz - Lyrical

Kay Ozzy found her passion for dance at four years old, training at The Dance Loft and Tribe Body. There, she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical, hip hop and contemporary. She furthered perusing her passion by attending SUNY Brockport, earning her BFA in dance. In college, she discovered her love for modern dance, teaching and choreographing. She was a teaching assistant for Professor James Hansen her senior year, as well as participating in many performances, including having her own choreographic work showcased. Her most notable work is her co-choreographed/performed piece with Jessica Karcz, “It Takes Two,” which was nominated and performed at the ACDA Mid-Atlantic North Conference. After graduation she completed the Broadway Dance Center Professional Semester, where her passion for performing, contemporary dance and choreography rekindled. Since then she has been teaching and choreographing for recreational and competition dance of all ages. Her goal is to always create a safe space for the dancers she teaches as well as give them artistic freedom through improv and within her choreography. 

She teaches at a collegiate level as well at Rockland Community College as adjunct faculty

Gina Termine-Oliverio

Hip Hop

Miss Gina has been a part of the Steeltoes family for over 20 years.  She first started out as an assistant at the age of 18 and has stayed with the company for many years.  After a short hiatus, she is so excited to be back teaching again! Her love of dance is very special to her and hopes all of her students learn to love it too. She is looking forward to an amazing year of dance!

Kayla Fraser

Lyrical - Hip Hop - Ballet

Kayla Fraser is a Rockland County native who began dancing at an early age.  She trained in all disciplines of dance throughout her life and knew one day she would become an instructor and share her passion with others.  Kayla danced competitively at Anita Ehlers Dance Extensions in Park Ridge, NJ and attended multiple competitions, workshops and conventions where she won multiple awards, scholarships and achievements.  By the age of 15, Kayla had transferred to train in NYC at Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey and the Joffrey.  She has been a performer at concerts, commercials and multiple professional showcases. Kayla is currently attending college earning her Bachelors Degree in Social Science. She has also just finished her rookie season as a professional National Arena Football dancer for Albany Empire.

Ann Mandel

Hip Hop - Lyrical

Ann has been apart of Steeltoes for 17 years. She has been dancing since she was 2 years old and competed with the Steeltoes team for 7 years. In addition to dancing, this will be her 7th year teaching and assisting classes. Ann is currently studying special education at Suny Cortland where she competes with the Kickline team. She loves working with students and watching them grow! She is so excited to continue working at Steeltoes and inspiring young dancers!

Joni Medzadourian

Lyrical - Hip Hop - Jazz

Joni Medzadourian is a passionate and energetic dance instructor who has been dancing since an early age. She began dancing competitively at the age of 7 at Ambition Dance Academy in Westwood, NJ. In her competitive career, she won numerous special awards and solo and group overall placements in all styles of dance. Since 2020, she has choreographed award-winning routines in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theatre for studios in NY and NJ. In high school, she captained the varsity dance team at Immaculate Heart Academy and re-joined IHA in 2023 as head coach. Joni attended Fairfield University and became president, captain, and choreographer of the Fairfield Dance Ensemble and Dance Fusion. Outside of dance, Joni works in digital/social media marketing and graphic design. She is excited to join the Steeltoes family this year and grow each dancer's love for dance.
