Director of Operations/Teacher
Miss Donna started dancing when she was 2 years old after being diagnosed with pigeon toes. Her doctor prescribed dance as her treatment. Donna started at Steeltoes the first year it opened and has been teaching and managing all these years. She is certified by Dance Educators of America and has taught ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and creative movement for ages 2-adult.
Mariah Valentin
Hip Hop - Jazz - Contemporary
Mariah began her dance training at the age of 2, and has loved it ever since! She trained under Diego Funes, studied at Peridance Capezio Center in New York and received her degree in dance from Stockton University. While at Stockton she choreographed for numerous student showcases and dance concerts. Mariah was captain of the Stockton University Dance Team and won numerous awards at competitions all over New Jersey. She has danced for the Philadelphia 76ers pre-game show at the Wells Fargo Arena. Mariah’s competition choreography has garnered her many high awards and wins including “Best Entertainment.” Mariah’s passion for dance continues to be limitless and she loves to share her love of dance with her students!
Ann Mandel
Hip Hop - Jazz - Lyrical - Acro/Hip Hop
Ann has been a part of Steeltoes for 18 years. She has been dancing since she was 2 years old and competed with the Steeltoes team for 7 years. In addition to dancing, this will be her 8th year teaching and assisting classes. Ann is currently studying special education at Suny Cortland where she competed with the Kickline team. She loves working with students and watching them grow! She is so excited to continue working at Steeltoes and inspiring young dancers!
Hannah Druss
Hip Hop
Hannah has been dancing since she was 2 1/2 years old and began dancing competitively during her high school years. She was captain of both the dance team at Clarkstown South High School and her competitive team. During her college years, she taught Zumba and was a member of the IFD dance team at Binghamton University. Hannah has been teaching for 7 years and loves working with students of all ages and levels. She has choreographed for girl scout troups, performed as a mascot for a local elementary school, and taught dance and movement to pre-k students. She creates a positive, fun, and passionate atmosphere for every dancer to grow and be themselves in class. Hannah’s motto is to dance like nobody’s watching and is looking forward to another year teaching at Steeltoes!
